Please read our health guarantee/sales contract in full before sending your application. You must be agreeable to the terms to purchase one of our dachshunds.​

​Upcoming Litters Info 

Once a pregnancy is confirmed we will post photos of the parents on our Upcoming Litters page. We will accept two preborn deposits per litter at this time: One male and one female. You must state the sex, coat type, and color/pattern desired when placing a deposit. If the litter does not produce the sex or color noted you may elect to have your deposit refunded or held for a future litter. The remainder of the litter becomes available after they are born.
​Please note that we occasionally hold back a puppy for evaluation into our breeding program. We will always hold first choice on any litters.

Deposit Terms

​When you place a deposit with Heartland Dachshunds, you are making a commitment to purchase a puppy. In return, we commit to holding that specific puppy for you until they are at least 8 weeks old and mentally ready to leave their mother.

• The $300 deposit is considered a non-refundable holding fee.
• Your deposit is applied to the final purchase price of the puppy.
• If you change your mind, the deposit will not be refunded, as we’ve taken the puppy off the market and lost valuable advertising time.
• This policy helps us prioritize serious buyers and avoid false promises.
• If the puppy were to develop serious health complications or pass away in our care, your deposit will be refunded in full.

​Mailing Instructions

If you choose to mail your deposit, it must be received within 4 business days to reserve the puppy. If payment is not received on time, we will move on to the next approved applicant.
